The LENGA has been drafted in response to rising sea levels. As a coastal town, the Esplanade is right by the beach. So moving the town “up the hill” is the only logical solution to the Global Climate threat.

‘Lakes’ is a scenic coastal town that is (approx) 320KM from Melbourne. It is in East Gippsland and the town is surrounded by water with a man-made channel dividing 90-mile beach & the town.

We’re starting with the LENGA. Which is the Lakes Entrance Northern Growth Area. The LENGA DCP is a Developer Contributions Plan that has been drafted in conjunction with an urban framework. The council have drafted a plan to see 1203 new dwellings “on the top of the hill”, one medium density site & a brand new neighbourhood activity centre.
